La Piazzetta, started in 1954 by Leonardo Giacchetti and now run by his daughter Laura, is a small bazaar located in the heart of Portonovo Bay, in the small square where all the roads leading to the picturesque beaches branch.
La Piazzetta is a food shop offering fresh bread and quality products for sandwiches. But it is also a tobacco shop and, above all, it is a high quality homemade ice-cream parlour, famous and renowned throughout the bay.
